Ice Runner Beats Old Man! Weigh day #22

Day 161: Run 56 (I think)

So it's been a while. My bad. Even when I have time, I don't do what I should do with it.

Pretty much I have been gorging myself for the last week blaming it on the holidays when really it was a simple lack of self control. All I have to show for it is 5 extra pounds and a smile!

So weigh day #22 was the day after Christmas.. total bust.

Yes I have been eating a lot, but I have also been running hard! I'm not as fast and I used to be because I spent too many mornings lazily doing a Jill Coleman workout from Xfinity on Demand!

But here I am and still plugging away at trying to be skinny!

Don't give m this crap about it shouldn't be about being skinny because guess what?! IT IS ABOUT BEING SKINNY! Why you might ask? I don't know ask society! A healthy skinny of course, but skinny none the less! Yes I was to wear skinny jeans and boots and those somehow only fit skinny people and gay guys!

Also for Christmas my amazing husband got me new yoga pants! YAY! When my friend Jacy comes home from Honduras I have decided that I am going to do hot yoga with her and I need to be in shape and look good in 'dem yoga clothes! He also got me an Under Armor running t-shirt that says, "Go Pink or Go Home" and it is in support of breast cancer awareness! I think he knows me too well! (Impossible to know your spouse to well!)

OK here are 2 running stories for you!

ICE RUNNER!

On one of my runs in the last 10 days it was early in the morning and was very icy out. I almost fell on my butt like 12 times! But when I got running fast I felt super awesome and decided to call my self Ice Runner or The Ice Runner! (Still not sure which one I like better) Either way it was funny.

BEAT THE OLD MAN!

Today while running I decided to play a new game called beat the old man! There was an old man walking on my running route so I decided to find a longer route and try to race him to where the paths crossed. I won! I got there first! Take that old man! (He didn't know he was playing so I suppose it wasn't entirely a fair win)

  • Motivation:  The scale God was displeased this morning and I must please the scale god!

  • Listening to:  Katy Perry, Nirvana, Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert

  • Thankful for: Stopping the missionaries and talking to them about how their work was going!

ROUTE AND STATS:
(Check it out, I can do it all in one picture instead of typing it all out! Just remember the run tracker's kcals are way off!)
