If you don't read the other stuff below at least check out the Motivation, Listening to, and Thankful for below! I'm super thankful!

Last night I went on a "Moonlight Hike" with my Relief Society (for those of you who don't know what that is, it is the women's organization for the Mormon church). We did the Little Naches Loop Trail. It was a lot of fun, but there were some clouds so we couldn't do it completely in the dark. We had flashlights and head lamps. (Thanks Daddy Anderson for letting me use your head lamp!) There were a ton of wild flowers! This is the picture I took with my phone!

Here are the STATS and the route map!

  • Motivation: To be healthy and keep losing weight and inches!
  •
  • Listening to: Ke$ha and Michael Jackson
  •
  • Thankful for: I'm thankful for my strong legs that can run and walk and jump. I heard this saying once that asked the question, "What if you woke with only the things you thanked God for last night?" So now every night in my personal prayers I am thankful for much more including my legs because some people don't have the luxury of working legs.

Before Pictures and Birthday Plans!

Day 41: Run 14
Awesome 4114 is a palindrome! I went running  for the first time since Oregon. It was a little tougher and it didn't help that I changed up my route so I couldn't properly gage how long I had been running or walking for. I definitely walked more than I ran :( Oh well, just gotta get back in the swing of it because once next week comes I will need to start running instead of walking to save on time!

I have finally taken before pictures and here they are! I will take half way pictures and then after pictures when I get to that point!

So my birthday is coming up, September 10th, and I have decided to not count calories for a 24 hour period the following weekend and just eat what ever the heck I want! Yes, it will put my goals on hold for a little bit, but I think I deserve to have a super cheat day for my birthday because I don't normally take cheat days. I usually conserve what I eat so that I can have a huge treat! It's a lesson that I call you can either starve yourself and have a huge brownie or you can be full and happy without the brownie. I have never been upset or regretted saving my calories for a huge treat because that's what you have to do if you want to eat like that and lose weight. I have also never regretted working my tail off just so I could eat McDonald's afterwards. It's all about balance.

Also I'm putting my  plug in for my newest treat : Healthy Choice Fudge Bars!!! only 100 calories in each bar and I savor every last one! It's easy to save 100 calories for an end of the day treat! You can buy them at Costco! My husband even says they're good, so you know they have to be super good for him to say anything with a healthy label is delicious!

I personally don't care for coffee flavor but for those of you who like it I was also told that they have 90 calorie Mocha Swirl Bars!

Today's Run:
  • Motivation: I can't give up now because I'm doing so good and I'm going to look so good!

  • Listening to: Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Britney (I need something new!)

  • Thankful for: My tummy is looking smaller, even though in the pictures it looks pretty big, I promise it is getting smaller!

RUN STATS:

Duration- 0:30:40
Distance- 1.96 miles
Average Speed- 3.83 mph
Average Pace- 15.39 min/mile
Calories Burned- 239 kcal

Healthy Chicken Nuggets

I got this recipe from SkinnyTaste.com! This website is full of lighter recipes and great ways to cut back on the calories or points if you use weight watchers! I personally love chicken nuggets so I had to try this one!

Healthy Baked Chicken NuggetsGina's Weight Watcher Recipes
Servings: 4 • Serving Size: 1/4th of nuggets • Old Points: 4 pts • Points+: 4 pts
Calories: 164.9 • Fat: 4.6 g • Protein: 22.1 g • Carb: 7.7 g • Fiber: 0.9 g Sugar: 0.1 g
  • 16 oz (2 large) skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into even bit sized pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 6 tbsp whole wheat Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp panko
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • olive oil spray

Preheat oven to 425°. Spray a baking sheet with olive oil spray.

Put the olive oil in one bowl and the breadcrumbs, panko and Parmesan cheese in another.

Season chicken with salt and pepper, then put in the bowl with the olive oil and mix well so the olive oil evenly coats all of the chicken.

Put a few chunks of chicken at a time into the breadcrumb mixture to coat, then on the baking sheet. Lightly spray the top with olive oil spray then bake 8 - 10 minutes.

Turn over then cook another 4 - 5 minutes or until cooked though

Next time I make these I am going to let them bake a little longer in hopes of them being a little crispier!

Last Day of Body Pump :(

Day 39: Workout 4

I went to body pump today for probably the last time because I will start working again next week. I will have to start running in the early morning.

Today I feel pretty good! I'm a little sad for summer to be ending and am nervous about being able to keep this up during the school year. It's going to be hard especially when my classes start again.

  • Motivation: To be smaller and healthy!

  • Thankful for: I am thankful for being able to do all of the squats in the body pump class today!

I have two new favorite treats
  1. Healthy Choice Fudge Bars: 100 calories each!
  2. Smart Pop Popcorn 94% fat free: 15 calories for 1 cup popped!
Delicious!

Killer Squirrel and The Ice Cream Truck

Day 37: Walk 3

Yesterday I went for a long walk in order to get more calories for Denny's. My husband and I go to Denny's every Friday night and now that I am watching what I eat it's hard to find something to eat there. :(

My calves are still killing me from the hike so I had to work through the pain yesterday and it just made it worst, but I needed the extra calories!

I went to the park and walked all over it again.  There was a giant squirrel that wanted to fight me! I was walking and the squirrel didn't move out of my way. it came towards me like it was going to stand it's ground. I was like "Whoa, chill out cray cray!" I almost stepped on it because it didn't move and it freaked me out. This squirrel was huge, much larger than normal squirrels and it was defensive. Scary squirrel. Then it followed me too just like the ice cream truck did!
He followed me mocking my hunger!

Here is my route and my stats:

Duration- 1:07:22
Distance- 3.27 miles
Average Speed- 3.27 mph
Average Pace- 18:20 min/mile
Calories Burned- 394 kcal

  • Motivation: My motivation was food for sure!

  • Listening to:  Lady Gaga and Katy Perry

  • Thankful for: I'm thankful that squirrel didn't attack me! I had my pepper spray ready!

Weigh Day 4

Day 36: Weigh day 4

Not too impressed with the scale this morning. 208.4, you have got to be kidding me?! All the hell I put my body through this week and I only lost  .4 lbs?! What da heck?! It better show next week or I will be angry face!

Created by MyFitnessPal - Free Weight Loss Tools

I went for an hour long walk yesterday with my 2 friends and I was sore when we went walking but I am super sore today. I have to hobble around but I want to eat more so I am going for another walk today. Hopefully it will help me earn more calories back!

I have to be honest. I am really struggling right now. It's hard to see everyone else eating whatever the heck their heart desires and I'm left sitting there with my phone trying to calculate exactly how little of the cheesecake I can have and still be under my calorie limit.

Why is water the only thing with 0 calories? At least on weight watchers you can eat a ton of fruit and veggies without it counting against your points!

Great now the Ice Cream truck is playing outside my window.

Also does anyone know if it is counter productive to eat and walk at the same time? I would almost think so but I don't know so.

Mostly Dead after Mt. Si

Day 35: Hike 1

Yeah I did a dumb thing and went hiking with a friend yesterday. It wasn't so much hiking as it was mountain climbing. It was hard and being out of shape was definitely being thrown in my face. We hiked the Mt. Si trail. Not Little Si, Mt. Si Trail. Here is a map of our way down. My tracker was having a difficult day. and then my phone died so I added the lines at the bottom to the parking lot which is why they are so straight.

Due to my tracker having issues I don't have completely accurate stats.

STATS:
Duration- 6:37:00
Distance- 8 miles
Average Speed- 2 mph (Much quicker getting down obviously)
Calories Burned- 2718 + kcal (I didn't count the calories I lost on the way down)

I am so sore. I didn't think that I would be able to walk today, but I can! I wore socks and shoes, but still got terrible blisters :(

  • Motivation: I had a friend with me. But what kept me going was telling myself that I am not a quitter and that I had to see the view from the top (Unfortunately I had seen better!)

  • Listening to: Just good conversation with a friend (I was ready kill her when we got to the top)

  • Thankful for: A beautiful day in nature. I wish I could have enjoyed it more!

Because my friend was with me we were able to take a lot of pictures so here they are!

Cute little waterfall!

This is me on top of an erratic!

This is me under a different erratic!

This is at the top!

The view!

The View!

The View!

The blue jay I couldn't get to come closer

Look I am Mary Poppins and birds just come and sit on my hand while I Sing!

Another awesome water feature!

Dieting sucks! I WANT FOOD!

Day 32: Workout 3

Wow! It's been a month! Woohoo! Gotta keep it up.

I have been struggling lately with not being full. I hate going hungry because I don't feel as though it is healthy to be hungry, but I also don't want to go over my calories.

Yesterday was a bad day for calories for me. Ok not terrible, but I struggled! I want bad food so bad!

I want MCDONALD'S!
I want CAKE!
I want BROWNIES!
I want lots of CRESCENT ROLLS!
I want lots of thick luscious FRENCH BREAD smeared in GARLIC BUTTER!
I want RED VELVET CAKE with CREAM CHEESE FROSTING!
I want breakfast SAUSAGE and BACON smothered in MAPLE SYRUP!
I want FRENCH TOAST!
I want CHOCOLATE!
I want CASHEWS!
I want PEANUT M&M'S!
I want GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! (Thankfully their not in season!)
I want FRENCH FRIES!
I want ONION RINGS and MOZZARELLA STICKS!

I want it ALL, but I must refrain and it sucks! This is the real Hunger Games and I might as well get a bow and arrow and start killing people as tribute to my dieting! (I've never read the books or seen the movie. Don't judge me. I'm hungry and might kill you.)

Let's move on before I cry!

I did the Body Pump class today and it felt great! I worked hard and am definitely going to be sore!
  • Motivation: FOOD

  • Listening to: The Cool workout mix at the gym!

  • Thankful for: Starting to be noticeably thinner! I went swimming with my husband and some friends last Friday and that night my handsome husband told me that he could tell my belly was looking smaller! That's what I am doing this for! Little comments from his mouth like that!

Anyone have really good LOW CALORIE and FILLING snack or food options?!
P.S. My husband started going back to the gym today! Hooray! The healthy is spreading! Way to go babe!

Weigh Day 3

Day 29: Walk 1

Yep walk! I went on a long, long walk this morning in hopes of losing a lot of calories so that I could eat my BROWNIE at Denny's tonight. Well I didn't lose as much as I would have liked to but it's enough to eat it!
Let's cut to the chase. How much do I weigh?... 208.8!

Created by MyFitnessPal - Free Calorie Counter

Woo hoo! Before pictures are coming I promise! I just need to get someone to take them for me! I gotta get them done before I lose too much weight for a good comparison!

  • Motivation: BROWNIE!

  • Listening to: The Book of Mormon on my iPod! (If you have any questions and want honest answers about The Book of Mormon or would like a copy of your own please contact me.)

  • Thankful for: Being brave and going in the cold water!

STATS:
Duration- 1:31:16
Distance- 4.76 miles
Average Speed- 3.13 mph
Average Pace- 19.10 min/mile
Calories Burned- 488 kcal

I walked all over the park several times! I even walked down the street I used to play on as a little kid. It was fun! I should have gone for longer but I had a doctor's appointment! Plus it was a lot harder than I though it would be!

Check out my crazy route!

Cry Babies and Baywatch

Day 27: Run 13

I almost didn't go running, but I DID! I couldn't give up one more run on the beach! Plus I hadn't gotten to use my new swim suit that I brought with so I had to use it! I put it on under my running clothes and went out.. in 56 degree coastal weather!

I ran to the baby river with the intentions of actually crossing it this time! (Last time I couldn't find a way over it without getting my shoes wet!) I took my socks and shoes off, as well as my leggings! I still had spandex shorts on under! and walked across the river! It was cold for a little bit, but I got over it! then I played BAYWATCH and frolicked on the magical island... well in my head it was magical even though it wasn't really so. This is my route and the red circle is me frolicking on the island!

Being bored I headed back and decided to run the rest of the way barefoot! My husband, his brother and his parents all said not to run barefoot because you would get blisters and it would hurt and blah blah blah... CRY BABIES. My feet were fine! My shins however would have appreciated the cushion of the shoes! It was more more difficult to run barefoot, but my feet are fine!

I then went swimming! People were staring.. and yes. It was very cold!

  • Motivation: One last day on the beach!

  • Listening to: Old school hip hop mix!

  • Thankful for: Being brave and going in the cold water!

STATS: (FYI I forgot to stop the work out so it is based on an hour and not 40 minutes!)

Duration- 0:54:40
Distance- 2.19 miles
Average Speed- 2.20 mph (A lot of "Standing around" because I forgot to shut it off)
Average Pace- 27.12 min/mile
Calories Burned- 246 kcal

Running with my Fathers

Day 26: Run 12

This is the first time I went running with someone else. I went running with my father-in-law. He likes to go south on the beach so we did. I couldn't keep up with him, but it was still fun! I saw him turn around and start running towards me so I turned and started running back to the beginning too. He obviously passed me on our way back!

He waited at the end for me and I couldn't help but feel like it was my Heavenly Father waiting for me. (It didn't hurt that the beach was heavenly with the sand, water and slight fog!) It felt like life. Sometimes your fast and sometimes you are slow, but your Father in Heaven is still at the end waiting for you to finish. Cheering you on! You can make it! Keep going!

Some of you may know that my own father passed away from pancreatic cancer when I was 15. So that is why the title of this post is running with my Fathers. I was running with my Heavenly Father, my Earthly father in spirit and my father on Earth.

  • Motivation: Family

  • Thankful for: Great in-laws!
This is the picture I took the day I went running with my Fathers

Here are my stats:

Distance- 1.54 miles
Duration- 0:27:37
Average Speed- 3.34 mph
Average Pace- 17:59 min/mile
Calories burned: 168 kcal

Here is the satellite of our route. I thought it was funny because it looks like we went running in the ocean!

I also thought it was funny that my father-in-law thinks the sand is really bumpy because it is just the route he takes. The north route is not bumpy at all!

Sand is Brutal

Day 25: Run 11

First day of vacation and what do I have to do... RUN ON THE BEACH! Running in sand is much harder! It was foggy and windy. My lower legs were being pelted by the dry sand caught in the wind. I decided to run north against the wind and then turn around and have it push me home! The fog made me feel like I was in that weird part of Pirates of the Caribbean where Jack Sparrow is in an all white beach/heaven idea.. Slightly creepy, but cool at the same time!

  • Motivation: The beach!

  • Listening to: Old School hip hop mix including... Lip Gloss by Lil Mama

  • Thankful for: I found the cutest little baby river! Turns out it's actually a creek, but still it was fairly wide and deep so it's a baby river. What beautiful scenery I was blessed with!

This is the end of the beautiful baby river! How gorgeous!
This is looking at the baby river! See how foggy it is!

Here are my stats:

Distance- 2.13 miles
Duration- 0:43:18
Average Speed- 2.95 mph (A little slow, but it was windy and sandy!)
Average Pace- 20.18min/mile
Calories burned: 210 kcal

Here is a picture of my route: It is a satellite image so it is much more beautiful than my pictures color-wise! Also it looks like I crossed the river, but I didn't. It changes course every year based on the volume of flow and previous erosion!

Weigh Day 2 and Upping the Ante

Day 22: Run 10

Yes I have gone running 10 times, but I have worked out 2 times for a total of 12 marks on my chart!! Almost half way there! I'm leaning towards a new article of clothing.. perhaps some running pants!!

I did not want to go running today.

I got 3 hours of sleep due to a research project that I had to be up at 4:00am for. Then I had to stay in Seattle for at least 4 hours to wait to make sure my sample collectors weren't going to float away! At least I had good company! (Megan Ritchie!) And I got to go to Pike Place Market and grab some flowers!

But I still didn't want to go running. I DID IT ANYWAY... not typical of me.. I like excusing myself from things that aren't fun. However once you start running it becomes fun and I never regret going!

Due to a lot of traffic I had to take a different route and use the cross walk on R st. Therefore adding distance to my run, but thankfully not too much extra time! I definitely ran a lot more than I walked today! I am very proud of myself!

Endomondo Run Tracker Stats:
Here is my run. The red area is the first area I ran and didn't stop except to wait for the crosswalk light!

Duration- 0:34:43
Distance- 2.11 miles (BOO YA BABY!! I just upped the ante!)
Average Speed- 3.65 mph
Average Pace- 16.27 min/mile
Calories Burned- 248 kcal (Side note: I learned that I am actually burning more than this because it does not take into consideration my weight)

Speaking of weight.... IT"S OFFICIAL WEIGH IN DAY!!
 Drum roll please.........
I weigh 210.6 lbs.

This is both a good and a bad thing.... Remember I said I cheated on Monday.. and Tuesday well I weigh more today than I did on Monday and Tuesday by 1-2 lbs. I know weight fluctuates but why do I have to have a heavy day on weigh day?! GRR! Either way I am still losing!!! Woo hoo! I have definitely felt lighter this week!

As for measurements I will be taking them every 10lbs I lose so 5 more to go til my next measurement!

  • Motivation: Very little... except the need for extra calories. I need to start working out and running everyday just so I can eat More and not be hungry!!

  • Listening to: Same play list on my iPod. Queen, The Veronicas, Britney Spears, and Broke Hogan

  • Frustration: Having to use the crosswalk.. I hate stopping traffic because I hate having to stop when I am driving.

  • Thankful for: Having to use the crosswalk. It forced me to push myself further. Plus I got to run around Game Farm Park where my Grandpa Criddle used to take me when I was little. A lot has changed in the last 15-20 years. I am also thankful for carrying my water bottle with me. I splashed it all over me when it got hot and it felt great! The best was splashing my legs. Unfortunately it got my shoes wet, but boy did it feel great!!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Last night for dinner I made Lime Chicken Soft Tacos and each taco only cost 204 calories!! They were delicious and were given the stamp of approval by my husband! The original recipe calls for flour tortillas which is what I used, but you can eliminate even more calories by using corn tortillas. Depending on which tortillas you buy you can eliminate almost 70 calories making them 134 calorie tacos!

Here is the recipe:
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/lime-chicken-soft-tacos/detail.aspx?event8=1&prop24=SR_Title&e11=lime%20chicken%20sft%20tacos&e8=Quick%20Search&event10=1&e7=Home%20Page

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast meat - cubed
  • 1/8 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 10 (6 inch) flour tortillas
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup salsa

  • Directions
    1. Saute chicken in a medium saucepan over medium high heat for about 20 minutes. Add vinegar, lime juice, sugar, salt, pepper, green onion, garlic and oregano. Simmer for an extra 10 minutes.
    2. Heat an iron skillet over medium heat. Place a tortilla in the pan, warm, and turn over to heat the other side. Repeat with remaining tortillas. Serve lime chicken mixture in warm tortillas topped with tomato, lettuce, cheese and salsa.
The next time I make this I will use less pepper, but that is just a personal preference!

Also Smart Pop Popcorn is great! If you get the right one you can have 3 cups of popped corn for 15 calories!!!

    Again, not my picture!

    Short Legs = Slow Runner

    Day 20: Run 9

I got up early (4:30) and took my mom to the airport (5:15). Then I came home and went on a run (6:30)! I definitely ran much further than I normally do! I used a tracking app on my phone and was slightly disappointed with my results. (I know I am slow, I have short legs and I also stopped to splash water from a puddle in my face and didn't hit the pause button.)

    Duration: 0:29:26
    Distance: 1.67 miles
    Average Pace: 17:36 min/ 1 mile
    Average Speed: 3.41 mph
Calories Burned: 186 kcal (This is the disappointment.. I though I was burning at least 200)

    • Motivation: My motivation was food, but I am not burning as much as I thought I was... Lame

    • Listening to:  Britney Spears, Fergie, Lady Gaga ( 3 favs for sure!)

    • Thankful for: I am thankful I was able to run 5 blocks without stopping!

I am hungry! I'm going to eat breakfast!

    "We are FINISHERS!"

    Day 18: Workout 2

Body Pump again today! Legs were easier and upper body was harder! When we get close to the end of something the instructor says loudly, "We are FINISHERS!" and I like it because it is saying, "The end is near, don't quit now! Keep Going!"

    • Motivation: FOOD! I can eat more today because I worked out! And I am making white sauce enchiladas tonight... I am almost positive that they are not cheap on the calories!

    • Frustration: Having recipes and not knowing how to calculate the calories correctly... so I found this website that you can enter your recipe and it will give you the nutritional facts. It's not 100% but it's close! http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp

    • Thankful for: Being strong enough to keep this going! I am doing great! I am using a lot of self control and will power!
I have learned to love calorie counting. I am almost addicted to it. I am the weirdo at the restaurant that asks for the nutritional guide. FYI Copper River at the Auburn Golf Course and Sun Break Cafe in Auburn  do not have nutritional guides. I think that is illegal but from I researched it is only illegal if it is a chain of 20 or more restaurants... That's a little crazy.. Everyone should have to have one. I will research this further and get back to you!

Sadly I will not be able to go to Body Pump next week because I will be on my way to Florence Oregon with my husband and his family, but I will be running on the BEACH!!! Woot Woot! I am excited to go exercises there! This does mean though that I am going to need to track my runs better this week so I can be as consistent as possible down there!

PS. I cheated and got on the scale this morning (official weigh is on Friday) and I loved what I was looking at!! Hopefully I keep that weight off this week and then I can Tell how much I weigh on Friday!!! I will tell you Friday if it is more or less than today!!

Omega water bottle! Isn't that the truth!

Low Calorie Mini Meat Loaves = Delicious!

I had to post about dinner last night. We did not get to go to Mazatlan so instead I made low calorie mini meat loaves! They were delicious! 254 calories for each little loaf! Here is the recipe and a link to where I found it. The picture below is not mine. My meat loaves looked way better than those, but I didn't get a chance to take a picture because my starving husband wanted to eat!

Prep Time: 15 min.    Cook Time: 45 min.

    Ingredients
    • 1 egg
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 2/3 cup ketchup
    • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
    Directions

    Official Weigh In Day

    Day 15: Run 8: Weight 213!

Yay! I have lost 2 lbs  and I got to run in the morning again! I need to start figuring out what I am going to do when work starts again in September!

I do have to tell you about dinner last night! I didn't eat much throughout the day and had 900 calories left over for dinner. so I had... McDonald's!! You heard me! The big M word! I had a 10 piece nugget (470 cal) with medium french fries (380 cal), plus sweet and sour sauce (50 cal) for a grand total of 900 calories!

I have looked up a bunch of low calorie dinners that I am going to try and make this next week. I will let you know how they turn out.

I don't know what I am going to do tonight because we are most likely going to Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant with my in-laws. I gotta find something I can eat there and stay under my calorie levels, plus Friday is Denny's night with my husband! Ahhh! I am going to miss my brownie!

    • Motivation: FOOD! Yep. Food. Food has become my new motivator. The more I exercises the more calories I can eat using my fitness pal! I don't have to be hungry, but if I am it is my own fault for not eating right or allocating my calories properly!

    • Listening to: Amanda's Car play list on my iPod. Including but not limited to: Brooke Hogan, The Veronica's, Finger Eleven, Ke$ha, and Queen!

    • Thankful for: There were not as many cars on R St. today! It was easy crossing!

    Fighting Myself

    Day 13: Run 7

Today I had more excuses to not run than I could think of.
    1. I'm painfully sore from Monday's body pump class, I'm not even sure I can physically run
    2. I was out late last night and I'm tired
    3. The kids at work we're really tiring today
    4. It's hot outside
    5. My favorite sports bra is in the dryer
    6. My iPod died and needs charging
    7. etc. etc. etc.
The list went on and on, but I STILL WENT!!
Fighting myself every step of the way! I am my own worst enemy, but I'm also my biggest cheerleader!

During the whole run I kept telling myself it's ok if I don't run as much, but I ran a little itsy bit more than I usually do!

    • Motivation: My Fitness Pal! I needed the extra calories so that I can stay under my goal! Exercise gives you extra calories to eat!!

    • Listening to: The Glitch Mob, also I end every run with Katy Perry's song Firework! It's fabulous!

    • Achievement: There is one part of my run that goes up a little hill and it's the hardest part of my run. I normally stop running at the top of the little hill, but I just kept going today! Not to much further, but farther!

    • Thankful that: Despite my brain telling my body it couldn't or it didn't have to, my body just kept going.
People are constantly saying it's a mental thing, and it is, but thankfully today my body took over.

Also, guess what?! I've lost a little bit of weight!! Not much, but I started at 215 and then gained 5 pounds for some dumb reason and now I'm at 214.6! Yay!! Almost half a pound!!

I will be weighing myself every Friday morning from now on!
